This type of practice board has been available for the banjo for a few years over here. Check out Jack Hatfield's site. http://www.hatfieldmusic.com/page6.html

Yes but it is a friend of mine who created these _ he is a luthier and he makes guitars for john Mc laughlin ; so he had the idea to associate a " right hand méthod " for each instrument , The bass player with J Mc L made the bass , another friend the guitar & i made the banjo R hand méthod ( for bluegrass style ) . BUT , when ( pretty soon ) classic banjo will be under the lights again , i will pêrharps do a " right hand " classic method .
Anyway , i mounted my pocket picker with nylons strings .
