Welcome Julian,
I am glad that you found us. I hope that you find the website of interest. There is a pile of stuff hidden away on here. Check out the MUSIC LIBRARY as it should keep you busy for a while :-)
Ian, thereallyniceman
ps Our website is run from Blackpool the UK. Whereabouts are you?
Hi Ian, thanks for the welcome, its nice to be here ! Im already liking what i see here, having a good rummage around. What a fantastic place to be part of !
Im in Doncaster, S Yorks.
I have my fingers crossed that i might just b able to find the man responsible for me playing banjo. I heard him playing A Bunch of Rags in a shop in the Lake District on the water front and that was my moment. Nearly spoiled the holiday for my wife because its all i could talk about. Couldn't wait to get home and buy a banjo.
The man you mention is the man who taught me 35 years ago. He is called Chris Sands. He is not a member on here as he maintains that he can't use computers! There are a few videos of him on Youtube is you search his name.
Thats great news Ian thanks. Its a small world eh ?
