"Both Graham & Bob are related but my 4th x great-grandparents William & Sarah Parslow were buried in Kingston upon Thames 1840 & 1847 respectively -- the birthplace of James T Parslow, banjo maker."

"OK. Is Graham related to you? He said he wanted it because his dad or grandfather made it.  I don't think I recorded Sunflower Dance on it - can't find one on YT - but I did play these two wonderful…"

"Hi Rob, I am not the Parslow you sold the banjo to, that was Graham Parslow (#8 in my register) and this instrument appears to have both a Parslow neck and pot. Really great to hear you playing 'The Sunflower Dance' on it on YouTube. Sorry…"

"Thanks for that Mike, although it is very rare for a Parslow banjo to come up for sale, there are at least seven that were in circulation over the past 15 years with unknown owners and they form part of the 26 I have in my Register with me having…"

"I'm looking at #17 in the Parslow Banjo register and it does look like it could be the same banjo but without the coat of arms. I wonder what became of my Parslow fretless banjo and if it is still being played."

Hi Edward,

Yes I had a look through your register and didn't see one remotely as fancy as the one I have here. Didn't notice your email address but will look it up and contact you directly with some images and pick your brains on some areas of interest with the restoration as some parts missing.

Regards

"Bones"
