OK. Is Graham related to you? He said he wanted it because his dad or grandfather made it.
I don't think I recorded Sunflower Dance on it - can't find one on YT - but I did play these two wonderful pieces: https://youtu.be/3zEfPJ5fJw8
We are not related directly or that I can prove but his brother has Parslow #7 on my register -- see the links page on this website.
I have just watched you playing 'Sunflower Dance - Gut String Early Banjo' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nq2ZSytQSw
Oh well, that's definitely me, and definitely the Parslow I owned. I'd forgotten about that video.
So, which of you is related to Parslow the maker?
Both Graham & Bob are related but my 4th x great-grandparents William & Sarah Parslow were buried in Kingston upon Thames 1840 & 1847 respectively -- the birthplace of James T Parslow, banjo maker.
Interesting. Thanks.
