Carl, although I think Joe played a Weaver in his later days, that looks suspiciously like an Essex. It isn't top-tension, it has scallops cut into the tension hoop in between each hook.

Rob, Joe Morley was one of the top players/composers for the banjo during its heyday. Go here for more info:
