Marcella henry was an associate of Axil Christensen and taught piano in his music school in Chicago. Being an early promotor and composer of ragtime music, Christensen was known as the king of ragtime. This piece by Henry is a well written and self published and doesn't follow Christensen's ragtime style which I find a bit formulaic and not to my taste. It's a good tune that was originally written in C, I've arranged it in G as it fits the banjo better. The score and midi are in the library....Steve.
