A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
As that rare beast a non-banjo playing contributor whose only comments were taken off as being unsuitable, I shall greatly miss the BMG pages. Apart from making me wish I'd kept some of the issues when I first bought them, they have been a treasure trove of interesting reading. Coming across the advertisements by my guitar teacher reminded me of some of the better parts of my schooldays. I guess I will have to accept the opinions of the technical experts who say it can't be done but it would be shame.

Dear Rob, Hope you are well and thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I agree with everyone who thinks the content of this unique site should be preserved, including the discussions, but unfortunately I cannot offer any suggestions, As for the BMG, perhaps I should follow Ian's suggestion and download as many issues as are of interest to me, but as yet I'm not sure where to file them. I don't think there's enough room on this iPad!. Best wishes, Michael.

You can put what you download on an external hard drive. There are also flash drives that hold an extraordinary amount of data..

Dear Jody, Many thanks for that. What I meant in full was that it's more convenient for me to read BMGs on my iPad but I was just thinking of doing exactly what you suggested. All the best, Michael.
