Anybody got a copy of this one by SSS?  It was #301 in his catalog.  I think Turner published an "arrangement" in C.  Either would work.

I assume you've been thru my Turner collection that Hal Allert has up on Classicbanjo.com? There's around 24 books (nowhere near being all inclusive). I would guess (SWAG) that it would be in one of the earlier JAT books than a later one.

Yep, no luck, though it seems that I've seen a copy before.

It is always fun to go through the Turner/Ellis stuff.  Every time I do I seem to find something of interest.

I've played though it.  I like it.  It comes alive with the second banjo. But… what is the deal with the title?

There is no resemblance whatsoever to Lansing's "Darkie's Dream."  So what gives?

I mean, Ellis was not shy about ripping off music but here he uses the title and not the (very popular) melody. 

Is there a story here?
