I was looking through some of the arrangements on the website and my composer instincts kicked in. I took a crack at arranging "Dance of the skeletons" by Thomas S Allen. It's not done yet, but I think this gives a proper idea of how difficult the arrangement will be. I decided to go the Bradbury route by trying my best to add accompaniment on top of the melody. Let me know what you think.

How are you progressing in learning the fundamental elements of opera singing?

I'm quite advanced, but not to a professional level yet. I've only taken lessons for around 6-7 months and my voice has improved probably by around 50%

That is very impressive. What daily practice routine has your teacher set for you?

I don't have a daily practice routine, I just get it in when I can because it is very loud and the squillo (overtones) is/are deafening. I pretty much set my own because he just guides me in faults in technique, I'm at an advanced enough level to a professional approach to working out the kinks. I'm going to college for it in the fall when I pass the audition.

How are you getting on, having gone back to the basic banjo techniques? Hopefully you will begin to realise a marked improvement in your whole approach to the instrument and the genre.

Ah I like to practice alternate picking. I use the earliest ones in Bradbury as warm ups and Clarke and I are working on Banjo Jubilee right now. My sight reading is better than playing from memory, but there are tunes I can play way better than the ones I've posted. I just hate recording... Mostly the mountain polka. I need to learn how to memorize everything. It's part of my journey of improvement I guess.
