This is an arrangement that was requested by one of our new members Eric Womersley.

Eric plays a number of instruments and sings in a Gospel group at his local church. He's new to the banjo and wanted to give this a try. I've kept the arrangement as simple as possible by using just barre chords and open strings (apart from the C chord in bar 14). I also sent Eric a half speed midi to help him with reading the score and numbered all the significant frets and positions.

Yesterday I received a Google video link of his first efforts. He managed to play all the way through, albeit slowly, with just an occasional hiccup which for a relative beginner is a great result.  

We're starting Skype lessons this afternoon, something I've never done before, so it will be a bit of a learning curve for both of us. The score and midi are in the library and maybe some other beginners may want to give it a try. The score is also downloadable below.
