Blaufuss was an orchestra leader from 1911 in Chicago and a writer of popular songs of the time. I think this was written in the style of ragtime rather than a serious attempt to compose a 'real' ragtime tune, as with many composers, he was cashing in on the ragtime craze. Nevertheless, it's a good composition and works much better on banjo than my initial thoughts. The score and midi are in the the library...Steve.
