The pot and its fittings do not appear to be Clifford Essex of any model. (Look at the cheesy tailpiece for instance). The bezel (tension hoop) does not look like XX special. There are the wrong number of brackets. Etc etc etc. Other things are suspect as well such as the equating of high action with "bluegrass". Bluegrass players often like a high bridge but the neck is then set so that the action remains low. It would seem the seller is trying to classify a defect as a virtue. The photos are poor so it's hard to tell for sure but the neck could well be the real thing, in which case the perch pole would have XX Special stamped on it. But that does not make the pot genuine.
