This is one of the earliest tunes published in the cakewalk style. Like many compositions of this genre, it's compilation of different melodies (none of which I could identify) and makes for a good piece for banjo. The original score is written in C and in 4/4 time, I've transposed it to G and set it in the more familiar 2/4 time.

I've edited the front cover and omitted the on score narrative as they may raise a few eyebrows and offend some modern sensitivities. The piano score is available to view if you wish to do a Google search. My score and midi are in the library...Steve.
