Despite the title, this isn't a rag, it was written in the stride piano style and is described on the score as a foxtrot. This is my arrangement to see if it would work on banjo. I'm pleased with the result as it's not a tune that you would usually associate with the banjo. Thomas was a prolific composer and musician with a long performing career, his bio makes an interesting read and can be found here.
