Yet another never heard tune from way back.

It's an excellent march with a good bass solo. It follows a similar structure to 'Battle In The Sky' and isn't too hard on the fingers. The intro begins with a few strains of Dixie which leads nicely into the main tune. The piano score is in C/Am  F but to make it fit  the banjo, I transposed it to Eb/Cm Ab.

The name intrigued me and as a result of some Googling, discovered that the state of Missouri was famous for breeding work mules in the 19th century, many of which pulled the wagon trains in the great move west. In 1995, the mule was adopted as the official state animal. This is definitely a 'must try' march. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.
