La Pa Ma La (1895)...Ernest Hogan

When Carrie brought up the subject of Ragtime music and the Skeddadlers were mentioned, it reminded me that I had this Ernest Hogan tune sitting on the back burner. I arranged it some time ago after hearing the Skeddadlers' excellent rendition on YouTube.

Maybe it's one that Carrie might like to try? It flows along at quite a sedate pace and isn't too much of a challenge on the fingers. It's another example of an early 'folk' rag. I'll have a listen to some more of their recordings when time permits in case there's anything else that may suitable for classic banjo.
