Marcella Henry was an associate of Axel Christensen and taught piano at his teaching schools in Chicago. I'm not keen on Christensen's style of ragtime as I find it too formulaic but this well written tune breaks the mould. I've made some significant changes to the piano score in the second part bars 21 to 23  and 25 to 26 and in the trio bars 55 to 61. I play the slurs after the grace notes as pull offs and hammer ons.(snaps and slurs)...Steve.
