This is an early cakewalk and one of  those tunes that could have been written for banjo. I've given it the Morley/Grimshaw treatment. I've rewritten the intro and added two lead in measures. I think it has become a very playable banjo tune. It's probably my favourite out of all my recent arrangements. (I've been playing it a lot during the week)

The grace notes are reasonably easy to play by hammering on (slurring) and they give the tune an extra bit of interest, I've added a few more between measures 50-57.

I play the triplets in the intro on 1st and 2nd strings (I've numbered the frets and positions) using just my thumb and first finger and this works fine for me.

Very little is known about the composer as this is the only tune published under his name. I suspect that it may be a pseudonym for someone more well known.

This tune is well worth playing.....Steve.
