Ian has kindly posted the dots, TAB and MIDI I sent him last night. Thanks!

This is a pretty simple tune at its core, so dig in and give it a go.

I found the most difficulty in getting the harmonics to sound out clearly, esp. that one at the 5th fret (the harmonic node is slightly behind the actual 5th fret). It requires quite a snap to get it to 'ping', best to move the RH very close to the bridge for that one (and the 7th fret ones).

All of the harmonics noted at the 17th fret are played on the 5th string. One of the later ones is followed immediately by a 7th fret harmonic but you may note in the TAB that I've moved it to the 19th fret for playing convenience. Much easier to hit there rather than jumping around.

The octave passages where one plays the 1st string and 4th string simultaneously are what I call 'following the railroad tracks'. If you listen to Pidoux play this, he is not strictly adhering to the time values of the dots. Sounds more like "swing eighths" to me. The MIDI, of course, is computer driven so the time values are in concrete. Sounds odd to me...I like the way Pidoux does it.

I also could not get that 'rallentando' to work out the way it ought to. I would not include it the first time thru that section...

I'm going to post some more Pidoux pieces soon!
