This tune is one of 20 featured in a collection called Songs From Georgia composed and published by Charles Astin. It's a compilation of negro work songs and dances woven together into a fine composition. The folk nature of the tunes make them ideally suited to be played on the banjo and this is a favourite arrangement out of my recent offerings. My suggested fingering incorporates  elements of melodic style..Steve.
