clifford essex banjos

Hello - I was looking up Clifford Essex banjos as I'm doing a little research into banjos that would be suitable for learning classic-style on. I came across 2 for sale on this US site.

The actual models are unidentified so I'm not sure of their value. Anyway, I just thought it would be interesting to share these finds.

Yes TBj was quite a player. He could demolish a wall at 50 paces with his picking. I met TBj on several occasions, including Lynn and I spending a Christmas Day at his home while we chatted and he played for us. He certainly could be an awkward chap, but was quite helpful to me with hints and suggestions.
