I first wrote an arrangement for Calliope over 10 years ago, my first draft is in the library but I was never completely happy with it, in particular the awful sounding midi. My latest software is much improved from that used originally so I've written an updated version of my first arrangement. 

I found that as a banjo solo, it was lacking something and was better played as a duet. This is my attempt to 'plug the gaps' in the music to make it more suitable as a solo. In parts, in particular the opening section, I've added bass notes in a way that is sometimes heard on ragtime guitar...Steve.
