“Beat the nerves” workshop

Preparing for a public performance, instrumental music exam, festival or competition?
Want to perform as well as you know you can, but terrified that your nerves will get the better of you?
Come along for practical advice and support; help with confidence building, advice on how to cope with nerves and stage fright, communicating to your audience, stage craft (how to behave on stage) and how to get the best out of your performance experience.
Spend the day with like-minded people in relaxed and supportive surroundings.

With over 30 years playing experience, Danielle has performed at The Royal Festival Hall at The South Bank; The Bolivar Hall, London; the CBSO centre in Birmingham, the Royal Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool and Birmingham Town Hall; at York Guitar Festival, Droitwich Festival, Jane Austen Festival, Bath; St Davids Cathedral Festival and numerous appearances on BBC Radio and Television. She regularly performs in a number of ensembles who specialise in 19th century fretted instrument performance and at present she is also believed to be the world's only female professional fingerstyle banjo player.
As well as her performing career, Danielle runs a thriving private teaching practice and also directs a number of ensembles including Midlands Fretted Orchestra, Friendly Folk and Gr8 Guitars. She runs regular performance workshops to offer encouragement and advice to anyone who needs support to further their musical performance.
