Banjo wanted for new student

I have recently started teaching a young lass classic banjo here in Malvern. She is keen as mustard and is making a great effort. At the moment she has a modern Korean banjo to which I've fitted Chris Sands strings to try and get the right sound. She has  her 14th birthday next month and her father is looking for a more suitable banjo as a birthday gift.   As there's nothing much on ebay at present, does anyone in the UK have a suitable open back instrument that they may be thinking of selling or know of one for sale? Maybe someone is taking one to one of the rallies to sell. Her father is willing to pay the asking price for the right banjo.  I know this request is a bit of a long shot but worth a try..many thanks...Steve.
