this is my take on a fairly recently learned tune, written by Kerry Mills quite a while ago ! not perfect but, never mind the quality, feel the width !

You are sounding good!

The format of WR from the composer Kerry Mills is:

Intro, A, A, B, B, A, C (or trio), C, D, D, A

In the version published by Clifford Essex the D strain was left out.  Most recordings of English banjoists play from this arrangement and ignore the D.  Recordings of Vess Ossman include it (I presume he was working with the piano part).

For a long time the ABF played the incomplete English version.  At some point Eli Kaufman got through to people that it was not the complete part and he and Tim Mainland made an arrangement that has all the parts (which can be found on the ABF website under "group numbers."  There is one mistake in that the D part of the Mainland/Kaufman arrangement does not include the 7th in the 10th and 12th measures (which you do play).

You seem to have not played the repeat of A after the second B and instead jump right to the trio.

Your tone is good and right hand position is very good.  But not following the roadmap sounds unbalanced to me. The first time I watched this I noticed something was off so I watched it again and played along.

well thanks for the comments guys, Joel I was really just kind of busking through just to let you guys hear what I have got thus far, I need to get a more formal arrangement sorted because I intend to record a piano backing track to use with it live at gigs, I am awaiting the Frank Bradbury book you recommended and, when it arrives I shall really have at it ! Thus far though WR is my firm favourite to play .
