Musescore tab tip?

Aargh! I'm trying to create a (full ) tab version of a Musescore staff notation. Musescore thinks the 4th string is tuned to D but it's really at C. So all the 4th string notes are shown two frets lower than they really are and I'm not able to change the number.  Is there a workaround?

You need to change the tuning of the banjo. 

Doing this from memory 

right click the first measure & select staff property

towards the bottom of the box that pops up, you have the option to edit the strings data

select the fourth string and adjust accordingly.
