Hi All

If you really want to treat yourself to a great listening and emotional experience this Christmas, buy yourself one or more of Hal Allert's CD's from the Classic Banjo Wesbsite.    The ultimate gift!   I would recommend Tom Barriball or Charles Mansell, as I have a soft spot for them.     They are classic  banjo at it's very best,  and you can't buy them anywhere else.    These blokes dedicated their lives to the banjo, and it comes across in their playing.    Thanks Hal for taking all the  trouble to compile them.     They are a part of banjo history.    Sure you can hang on to your money and even rattle it in your purse,  but one day when it's too late, you will kick yourself, as you will have missed out.    I set my CD player going whilst I'm typing or doing a job on the computer and they just inspire me, and lift my spirits.    Life is good and Christmas is coming.    What more could you ask for.

Merry Christmas to all the members, especially those who sent me a card.   Ray

....and don't forget I've got a few copies left of David Miles' "Banjo on a Sleigh Ride" A selection of 23 Songs and carols in Celebration of Christmas arranged by David E.J. Miles MBE. £8 each plus postage at cost.

Wow!!  This is really living, and looks like being a good Christmas, with lots of goodies.    Time to Jingle my Bells.
