Score for this is in the music library. I'm playing my trusty C.E Special banjo.

Well done!
Excellent stuff Carrie! A trusty CE Special indeed! "Specials" always sound great, even with me playing one ;-)
A tricky piece well played. I love ragtime 'cos you can't beat a bit of syncopation.
Thanks Marc and Ian. Yes, you can't beat a good syncopated ragtime tune!
I found a video of Olly Oakley playing this tune on a Pathe 78. The video isn't downloadable though.

The video is hiding down at the bottom of the page, on the right.
And...My CE Special is the best sounding classic banjo I own (aside from the Stewart Cello). The others remain quietly resting in retirement from their labors.
The video is hiding so well on the Discogs page that it is invisible to me. However I found the recording on YouTube. The speed and pitch seem slow and low. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1XKcFAFMmY
Here is the recording: https://www.youtube.com/@Onkel_Greifenklau (I really like this recording - full of Oakley's signature energy (I notice the orchestra does the rapid chord-shifting bit in the 3rd part - that kept tripping me up)
Yes, Marc - I agree. The C.E Special is my favourite banjo for classic-style.
Carrie, the link is to a large collection of old recordings with labels printed in various European languages. I guess the Oakley recording is in there somewhere but I searched for it and didn't find it. I found it by leaving the channel page of the poster and going directly to Youtube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7aORtsCaHE
It's a different recording from the one whose link I posted in an earlier comment in this thread.
Strange, Marc's link worked for me and the video comes up on the bottom right. I linked the same 'Disque Pathe' recording from youtube so you could hear it.
LOL, and I couldn't find it on youtube...so I went with the discogs link...
Three heads are better than one - now, that sounds like a classic banjo tune - LOL!
