Excellent! Bravo!

Very different hearing this tune with guitar and bass backup. Not sure I like the backup being there (I've never heard it except as a solo piece)...but it is all well done in any case.

Bravissimo!  I loved it!  As smooth as pouring cream from a jug.  Some nice personal touches there to drag it into the 21st century.  Backup from the Titanic String Band School of Morley Banjo.  The next piece can't come too soon!

Thank you all! Indeed I owe a lot to Peter Labau. the Titanic String band.

But of course the biggest thank you to you, Reallyniceman! This website is an incredible source which really got me going. And this music really deserves to be played and heard!

As you can see and hear I do take some liberty, using a homemade backing track and playing with finger picks.

If the weather allows me I do quite some busking on markets. Started 2 years ago, inspired by the video's of Dave Hum. The nicest thing about that is to see so many happy faces!  So I am used to playing with finger picks, the volume suits me well, and I feel more comfortable when being supported by a backing track.

Thanks again, and there's more to come!
