A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
Just made this this morning -- following Sylvia's suggestion, I had the idea of writing a midi with the piano part and playing to that. The midi turned out OK-ish (there are a few mistakes to iron out) but I'm playing slower than usual, at about 90 BPM, due to the difficulty of playing along with the midi piano.
Please forgive the mistakes, I got lost at one point towards the end and I only took about three or four takes. I did include some outtakes, though, about how a rogue cat managed to sabotage one of those takes. Enjoy!

May be it ' s because you have a plastic ' head on your Bj , Mike , that your cat isn ' t afraid ?

I very much doubt it as he has shown a keen interest in my other banjo fitted with a natural vellum... I guess cats are more likely to be afraid of shamisens, which do have a cat-skin vellum!
Oh, and he isn't an American cat at all... he's just a cat who happens to look like a colour point siamese (he isn't one though... he's just a moggy).
