Lancashire Clogs, by Emile Grimshaw, as played by the immortal Olly Oakley... Well, not nearly as well as Oakley, but ideals, you know, are like the stars -- we cannot reach them, but oh, how we profit from their presence! ;-)

There's a bit right at the end which actually sounds a little like the Czerny march Marc arranged...
Very good Mike. This is another nice tune performed well, from the M.Moss music production line!
The "Immortal Olly Oakley".. sorry to disappoint you Mike, but:
I posted this PDF ages ago but some people may not have seen it. It is a bit tatty but interesting to read.
I am sure that he, along with many others are looking down from Banjo Heaven on our CB group, with smiles on their faces ;-)
Surely you know that reports of his death are greatly exaggerated! Oakley faked his death and went into hiding -- rumour has it he is currently Chief Banjoist to the Emir of Dubai, where he spends his time entertaining oil magnates and chasing after harem girls.
great playing Mike ,as a child my mum was so poor she sent me to school in lambeth in s pair of glogs . i think i got in a fight that day .i live in whitshire now no where near lancs but ive heard this tune from somewhere
Well at long last I've been able to hear it , got to it via Alans comment. Because whenever I clicked on the video on the Main page a box would come up saying "Internet not working " which was a fib because I could get Facebook and Minstrel and other things, this has happened quite a few times over the last couple of days. Anyway Mike I thought it was great, the accompanist was pretty good too.
