May i think  you didn 't watch this vidéo  ' til the end ? , Ian  ? ; aaarrrrrgggghhhh

However , if i forgot to write the brand of the bj , feel free asking to Marc S , i think he 's an expert .

I have this banjo for a long time and i use it for 2 reasons : short scale & good sounding when bass=D .

This lovely Cammeyer ' tune is easier to play with a short scale because of the difficults LH fingerings  .Thanks marc

nota :Prior , i played it there  :

Ah well, you found me out! I think the knees were just too much for me. When you finished the tune  stood up and walked towards the camera, I just had to  turn you off :-)

So I missed the credits... Now I have watched the credits I see... a Dobson!  I have not watched "Expressive" before.. that is a good tune, and a very early posting by you. The banjo sounds different on "Blaze Away" have you changed something for the recent recording?

non , the banjo is perfect  ( a very good 11 ' rim , said éric who used to try it ) , set with an Elite ' renaissance head and  a Grover ' non tip ' bridge . My thinking is that a short scale ' banjo like this one need a particuliar attention  when tuning before to record a song . I think the differents sounds beetween the vidéos are only my playing and of course , the mike of the camera , which is always in differents places from one video to another one

Marc, very nice playing. If I might add something to your song, the full title of the song is No.1 Hurry Little Children, Christmas Morn. It is part of the Piccaninies Christmas Suite by Cammeyer. I don't know what the other songs are in the Suite but they could be A Winter's Tale and A Christmas Carol. Maybe David Wade knows more. I have the piano and 2nd banjo parts for the song, if anyone is interested.
