Another superb example of the true Classic Banjo sound from a master of the style.  It is unusual to hear "modern" compositions from Tarrant Bailey Junior being performed.

This is from the Mel Bay's "Tarrant Bailey Jnr Banjo Solos, his life and works" by Chris sands.

For those who are not aware, Chris Sands was the prodigy of Tarrant Bailey and is probably the world's finest exponent of Classic Banjo Style. He has produced numerous recordings, played around the world and teaches Classic Style at Federation events.  Also I was fortunate enough to have been taught by him in the 1970s. ;-)

Wow ! That was awesome ! - And the church's natural reverb suited the piece.

Hi Shawn, good to see you!.. Yes AWESOME playing. TBj was a great composer and player, also he was still producing 78rpm well into the 1940s.  Here is a great tune in his amazing style.
