Aargh. All the Bradbury pieces are amazing and excellent...except for "The Clock and The Banjo", which is a travesty (esp. if you've heard, the master, Harry Reser play it).

I listened half way through the Bradbury version and then clicked on the Reser link.  The Reser recording began to play but the Bradbury recording also continued.  My reaction can be best summed up with the first word of your post, Marc:   Aargh.

I'm still listening. It's actually pretty amazing to  hear them at once unaligned. Absolute banjo chaos.

I think "The Clock and the Banjo" is a travesty no matter who plays it on what.  Just sounds like random noises to me.
