Really good Marc. That was a very impressive piece of playing and of your memory. I think that you must have used every fret on the fingerboard!!
Magnifique !!
In American English "1/2 ton" weighs 1000 pounds. I think this piece of music has a least a half ton (tonne) of notes! I'm having a hard enough time today practicing to playing Cupid's Arrow clean. I can't imagine how long it would take me to learn to play this "waltz". A year, maybe? Nice sounding banjo. One question: why is this a waltz? so much of it is not in 3/4 time.
Magnifique Marc!!
THx , old banjo ' fellows
Yes Jody , the tune is everywhere in 3/4 time ; i guess he was so popular in the early XX th century that everyone used to play it on the piano , of course ; and there were many way to play it ; but , btw , each one of the 4 parts has his own tempo up to the mood of the player
I'll have to listen again. I thought some passages were in 4/4.
That was brilliant - I am not familiar with the tune but it sounds great on banjo.
