Workshop  in Saint Gervasy  ( 6 miles from  Nîmes ) France ; june  15 & 16.

 I will be here for the CB section .  There will be  Live music , of course , will play some tunes

jean marc ( Andres ) will play , too & tell the story of the ragtime  banjo ;

je rajouterai des infos au fur et à mesure . Le coût du stage devait être approx de 50 € pour 3 heures le samedi et certainement au moins 1 h le dimanche . Tous niveaux  bienvenus . Le mieux est de monter un banjo 5 cordes , n 'importe lequel de préférence , en cordes nylon que vous trouverez un peu partout sur internet ; Elderly vends des jeux La Bella très bien sinon Clifford Essex aussi , sur ebay oubien des Aquila nylgut . Si vous venez avec des cordes acier , on jouera quand même mais bien sur sans onglets , ça sera un peu plus pénible si vous n 'avez pas l 'habitude . Voir le programme , jean marc Andres sera présent aussi et il y aura des animations ragtime et Bj classique , J 'espère vous voir nombreux pour cette 1ère édition de stage Bj classique en France  et suis à votre écoute sur ce forum pour toutes questions relatives à cet évènementiel ; banjo_classiquement @+marc

Thanks Ian ; Finally , it seems thet éric will not be there this WE ; i will play alone on stage  some tunes and jean marc will do the same   thing  ; We just talked together , just to not play the same  CB pieces .

the audience will be from bluegrass , old time , CGDA , GDAE , DGBE banjo ' lovers but , in France , CBCD ( classic banjo with C or D bass ) is not well knowed ; i hope to generate some new  aficionados
