My love of banjo music is endless, although my playing is limited.
My Forte is Plectrum Chord Melody, playing with Dixieland/New Orleans style bands.
Over here in GB we call them Trad Bands.
We do have Classic Banjo Players here, who's names escape me right now,
the last one i heard was amplified,it was awfull.
I was very interested to see Ladbroke March mentioned,Chas Skinners shop/workshop was in Notting Hill Gate, which is very close to Ladbroke Grove in west london.
Welcome Robin, All banjo is good. I like all styles of banjo playing(with the exception of bluegrass), so impostors are welcome here.In fact we don't consider you and impostor, more a candidate for conversion :-)
Have fun and enjoy your time on here and watch the videos of our members... you will be impressed!
