Hi Dan,

Chris Sands composes and arranges new music, as does Alan Middleton of Clifford Essex music, professionally. There are also plenty of amateur arrangers and composers, including several on our site; Steve Harrison and Ian (thereallyniceman) have arranged and performed several piano ragtime pieces.

Also, keep an eye out for arrangements by David Miles, who passed away last year -- he arranged a lot of popular music in his "Pop goes the banjo" series.
