Nice! I still haven't tried to make mine, but it's a really clever design. Probably no less effective than the Grover spring-loaded mute, and much easier to make.
You've made a really neat job of making this, they've got to be a surefire money maker.

Thanks! I really appreciate you sharing yours and the specs. I don't know if they would sell, but they really work great. One can sort of adjust the amount of pressure for a slight bit of volume control. I just wanted to kill as much sound as possible to keep the peace in my house. If (or when) I make up some and try to sell them, I will include all the sizes needed so that people could make their own.
In the past I used one of those Elton clamp on mutes, they work OK but but I never could get past having it in the way. This pattern works perfect for both classic and thimble style.
