MY CLAIM TO FAME...This was me 21 years ago whilst in the first flush of youth (I wish!). The article appeared in the Birmingham Evening Mail and shortly after I was asked to play on our local radio station and if I remember correctly, I played appropriately an Irish reel called 'The Peeler's Jacket'. A Peeler is an old name for a Police Officer after Robert Peel, the founder of the first English Police Force.

Great photo!  Well we used to have the Singing Postman so why not the Picking Policeman? ;-)
