Knowing the dots, really doesn't make for a musical performance!

 

I don't even like the William J Ball's  performance of this piece. To me, seems a little rushed and not sentimental enough.  I can only think of one player who can wring the sentiment, to the point of mawkishness, out of  any CB solo...  and they are not a member here any more.
