The Unknown Track played by Charlie Rogers in the Original Recordings Section is 'Hiawatha (A Summer Idyl)' composed by Neil Moret. It's named for Hiawatha, Kansas, where his lady friend lived and not what you or the illustrator of the sheet music might assume. Neil Moret was actually Charles N. Daniels and under his real name wrote 'Chloe (Song Of The Swamp)' and 'Tell Me Your Dream'. All these three numbers were popular with Jazz Bands in the UK in the 1960s and that's how I know them.

Thank you for the information David.

I have edited the Charlie Rogers track from the Hal Allert podcast album.

I am having a bit of trouble with the ORIGINAL RECORDINGS database and some odd ball anomalies have popped up that I will, hopefully, repair soon!  Please ignore any errors that you may spot at the moment as they should be fixed soon... just make a list ;-)

Ian
