Syncopatin' Shuffle from the BBC

I discovered this recording hidden away on our site, and for those who haven’t heard it before, here is a Radio programme broadcast here in the UK by the BBC in 2007. It is entitled “Syncopatin’ Shuffle” and is presented by banjoist Julian Vincent. Despite the lousy jokes at the beginning, it gives a nice and interesting history of the banjo and of the Classic and other styles of playing. Throughout it features William J Ball’s playing, and that of many others!
