Some early high end Washburns,1892,1894,and 1896

Finally got my 3 Washburns up and running,two are 12" Presentation models(one a custom order with all the trimmings) and the smaller one is a special model that doesnt correspond to anything in the early catalogues,so i presume it was a custom order.

These early washburns are fantastic sounding banjos,and I really enjoy playing them,plus they have plenty of eye candy effect,so i thought i'd post a couple of photos .

very beautiful , Skip ; but why only the banjo on the right need a rag to protect from the stones ?

I got stones all in my pathway,but my rags is kinda light.

Actually the rag is there to protect the stones from the banjo.
