Paul Eno Compositions and Arrangements (lots of them)

I have completed scanning all the Paul Eno pieces I have (well, found so far, more will likely turn up at some point).

The below link should take you to search results.  There are some duplicates and a mix of A and C notation (most of Eno's music was published in the US before 1908).

Some highlights include:

Plantation Symphony.  This has found its way into bluegrass by way of Tony Trischka because it kinda follows what bluegrass people already do.

Ragtime Episode.  We have discussed this before.  The original S. S. Stewart publication does not include the ascending run repeat of the final strain.  I do not know who added that but I suspect it was Fred Van Eps adding filler to his recording (no proof or evidence, just a hunch).  In this collection is the original SSS print as well as the CE and some manuscript versions.

La Premier March.  This was a number that Fred Van Eps recorded in the early 1950s (53?).  A solid march.

Polonaise No. 2.  A brilliant showpiece.  Not easy but full of fireworks.

Cupid's Arrow.  Nothing needs to be said about this one other than Zarh Bickford wrote that Eno always played it with snaps and slurs. I believe that playing it that way conjures the programmatic nature of the piece simulating Cupid's wings.  To me, playing it in positions like a rapid fire machine gun of notes takes away the romantic spirit.

And many more...

I my opinion there are more hits than misses when it comes to Eno's work, and I recommend giving all of them a try.
