I have just found a “new”, old Fred Van Eps recording from 1912.

I have not heard this piece before and I think that you will not have either!! There is an Ossman version, but I prefer Van Eps. I guess that is just something about the brightness and attack in his playing.
I find it amazing that these lost recordings keep turning up. If you have any that are not in the JUKEBOX please let me have a copy for ALL to share.
The recording is a bit “baconified ” at the moment, but maybe my audio editing friend will be able to work his magic on it when he hears it ! (fingers crossed)
Here it is George L. Lowry’s Florida Rag, by the superb Fred Van Eps Trio:
Go on, tell me that you didn’t like that ;-)
