Here are the 2015 UK Banjo Rallies, with dates and venues.

Thanks for putting this up Ian, we really need to get as many people as possible to these events for them to survive.

We are one week away from the Clowne rally, situated a couple of miles from Junction 30 on the M1 - Clowne Community Centre S43 4PL

Informal Concert and Trade Stalls

Admission is £4.00.

The format of the rally remains the same as previous years with organised playing and regular breaks for refreshments, buying and selling instruments bric-a-bac and music. Should anyone wish to reserve a stand or display space, please confirm first with either Keith Wilson (0113 2588 243) or myself.

Although this Rally is solely for finger style or ‘classic’ banjo playing, other instruments are welcome for use as accompaniment.  As well as solo playing there will be opportunity for everyone to join in playing community tunes a list of these and the sheet music is available from the organisers. 

Please be assured that all levels of playing are catered for and newcomers will find the atmosphere friendly and encouraging.

Light refreshments, tea and coffee will be available, all at reasonable prices, so there is no need to bring food unless you have specific dietary requirements.

I can provide pdf version of the part books - including a simplified tune book.

This Rally is must for anyone in a hundred mile radius of Sheffield!
