Hi all, as a newbie to the classic banjo I was perusing the net and,found this event advertised, I have recently acquired a nice old Weaver and, am getting to grips with it, anybody here going to attend? is it a good source for a newbie like me ? I have the day off and can go if I wish, I do rather  fancy it, is there much classic banjo there ? thanks all.

Hello Nick,

I say "Come on and join us!"  Here you will meet many banjo players of the Classic Style.  There will be informal performances, and lots of chances to speak with players of many styles.  I will look forward to seeing you and your Weaver there.
