Hi All,

Many of you are probably aware of this already, but if you're not the US Library of Congress has launched its "National Jukebox" today with many long out-of-print recordings available online.

Here's an article on the subject.

Here's the link to the jukebox:

Here's Fred Van Eps' "page":

My day now has a purpose ... :)

Best,

Adam

I am unable to get anything to play on this site ... Even the jukebox sampler from their homepage won't play for me ... Perhaps I was overly enthusiastic about its current abilities/inventory?

Ah well, it will be worth keeping an eye (ear?) out for its development ...

Wow thanks so much for calling attention to this. The jukebox worked after I clicked the Play button.
There are a number of Vess L. Ossman pieces on the site that I've never heard before like Pinky Panky Poo. Plenty of Ossman & Farmer and Ossman & Hunter. Zowie!
Yes. The player is now there. I checked it out when you first posted and the player was not on the page. I too thought I was missing something. That is not the case now. Let the listening begin!
Yep, working now ... Great stuff on the site!
Paid a visit to the site and " I like "
