Steve has found another old ragtime piece and produced an arrangement for us. This one was composed in 1901 by A.E. Henrich and called “Dixie Flyer”.

 

The Dixie Flyer was a railway locomotive that traveled between Nashille, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Florida around the 1900s.

It has been suggested that Glen Miller later wrote his famous “Chattanooga Choo Choo”  about the Dixie Flyer.

 

It is a great tune, and I have added it to the MUSIC LIBRARY it you want to give it a try.
